Caramel Cake
Maida - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup.
Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup.
Baking powder - 1 tsp.
Water - 1/2 cup for caramalyse sugar.
Condensed milk - 1/4 cup.(optional)
Unsalted butter - 100 gm.
Egg - 4 nos.
Method :
1. In a bowl mix maida with baking powder and keep it aside.
2.To Caramalyse sugar : Heat a pan and add 1/2 cup sugar to it and heat till brown, in medium flame.Then add 1/2 cup hot water to it and mix well till it gets dissolved. Keep it aside and let it cool.
3.In another bowl mix butter with 1/2 cup powdered sugar,mix well till soft.And add condensed milk to it and mix well.
4.Then blend eggs well using a blender.
5. Add a little egg to the butter sugar mix first and to this add the maida and mix well.Then add rest of the egg to this.Finally add the caramel syrup..
6. Mix these batter well using a spoon.The cake batter is ready to bake.
7.Grease a cake tin with butter and maida.Preheat oven at 150C for 5 mins.
8.Bake the cake for 30 mins at 350 F ( 170C ).
9.Cut the cake after cooling. Soft Yummyyy caramel cake is ready..
