Green Peas Pulav







Basmati Rice - 1 cup.
Green peas - 1/2 cup.
Water - 2 cups.
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Cloves - 3-4.
Cardamom - 3-4.
Ghee - 2 tsp.
Salt to taste and few coriander leaves.
Few nuts and kissmis for garnishing.





Method :
   Wash rice ,drain and keep it aside.Cook green peas in a pressure cooker with enough water and salt.Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan.Put cumin seeds,cloves,cardamom,Saute for 3 seconds..Then put the drained rice and saute well for 1-2 mins.Add salt.Add 2 cups of water,put few coriander leaves and cover it with a lid. Boil for 5 mins or till the rice cooked.When it is done,add the cooked peas to it and mix well..Heat it for another 3-4 mins in low flame and stir in between.And for garnishing,heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts and kissmis.Put it over the rice.Serve hot with veg or non-veg curries.
